MANILA, Philippines — Some areas in Metro Manila, Bulacan and Quezon will have power interruptions this week because of maintenance work, Meralco said on Sunday, August 24.

In Quezon City, several parts of Barangay Culiat, Pasong Tamo and Matandang Balara will have no power on August 24-25 between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. due to the replacement of electricity facilities along Luzon Ave.; and Calamansi and Lucban Sts. in Bgy. Pasong Tamo.
Between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m., areas that will have no electricity include a portion of Luzon Ave. from Commonwealth Ave. to near Calamansi St. including J. Maharlika, Media, Samadores I, II, III and IV, Samar 1 and 2, Sto. Niño, Aratelis, Bagong Sikat, Bayanihan and Mangga Sts., a portion of Purok 4A and 4B, and Bedrock Building Kayumanggi Center and Iglesia Ni Cristo - Lokal ng Luzon Avenue - Central in Bgy. Culiat, Matandang Balara and Pasong Tamo.
Between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. places that will be affected include a portion of Luzon Ave. from Congressional Ave. Ext. to Area 3 St. including Durian, Kasoy, Lily, Daisy, Camia, Lucban, Anonas, Tambis, Calamansi, Naranghita, Camatchile, Bagong Sikat, Dahlia, Camatsili, Chico, Jasmin, Dalanghita, Karamay and 8th Sts., and a portion of Purok 4A and 4B in Barangay Culiat, Pasong Tamo and Matandang Balara.
In Novaliches, some parts of Brgy. San Bartolome will have no power on August 27 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. because of the replacement of electricity facilities along B. Evangelista Drive in Bgy. San Bartolome.
The affected areas include those along B. Evangelista Drive and Metro Ave. from Quirino Highway to and including Rainbow Homes Subd. and Metro Green Village in Bgy. San Bartolome.
Then in Katipunan, Quezon City and also in Pasig City, some places in Brgy. Ugong and Ugong Norte will experience power interruptions on August 30 between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. because of the commissioning of facilities inside Meralco - Bridgetowne substation, and also because of the replacement of electricity facilities along Bridgetowne Blvd. in Bgy. Ugong Norte, Katipunan.
Between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. and between 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m., areas that will be affected are a portion of E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave. from Nissan Gallery Ortigas to and including SSI Metal Corp. in Bgy. Ugong, Pasig City.
Between 8 a m. and 1 p.m., areas that will have no electricity are GBF Centers 1 and 2 along E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave. in Bgy. Ugong Norte, Quezon City.
In Pasig City, some places in Brgy. Ugong will have power interruptions on August 31 between 9 a m. and 2 p.m. because of line reconductoring work and replacement of facilities along Doña Julia Vargas Ave. near C-5 Road in Bgy. Ugong.

In Malabon, some areas in Brgy. Acacia, Potrero, Tinajeros, and Tugatog will have no electricity on August 24-25 between 11:15 p.m. and 5:15 a.m. due to the installation, relocation and reconstruction of facilities and line reconductoring work along Gov. Pascual Ave. in Bgy. Acacia.
Affected areas include a portion of Del Monte Road from Gov. Pascual Ave. to Orange Road in Bgy. Potrero; a portion of MacArthur Highway from Rimas Road to Inda Maria St. in Bgy. Potrero; a portion of Gov. Pascual Ave. from Marcelo H. Del Pilar St. to near Industrial Ave. including Basilio, Simoun, Kapitan Tiago, Consuelo, Lingkod Ng Bayan, Liwayway, Ligaya, Frugalidad, Economia, Industria, M. L. Quezon, J. P. Rizal, Maria Clara, Elias, Isagani, Flerida, Ibarra, Celia, Crispin, D. Dela Cruz, Sarmiento, A. Dizon, B. Rivera, Magnesium, Mercury, Silver, Titanium, Tungsten, Goldendale, M. Dick, Doña Victorina, Arasity, Sanchez, Col. Espiritu, Sisa, Platinum, Uranium, Radium, Plutonium, Lithium, Helium, Carbonium and Saint James Sts.; And Goldendale Village Phases I and II in Bgy. Acacia, Potrero, Tinajeros and Tugatog.
In Malolos City, there will be no electricity on August 30-31 between 11 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. and also between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. because of the replacement of electricity facilities inside Meralco – Malolos 2 substation.
Areas to be affected include a portion of A. Mabini and Paseo del Congreso Sts. from Meralco – Malolos 2 substation to Primero de Junio St. including Sitio Bliss, Sitio Malangam, Sitio Bankal and Purok 1 – 3; Maunlad Homes Subd. Phases 1 – 5, Menzyland Subd. Phases I, II-B and III-A, Menzyville Subd., Toledo Ext. Compound, Cabantog Subd., Castro Compound, Del Carmen Ville Subd., Fausta Subd., Hiyas Subd., Miranda Subd., Regatta North Subd., St. Paul Ville Subd., Villa Tierra Santa Subd., Guinhawa Subd., Barrio Kapitolyo Subd., Felicisima Village, Golden Grains Subd., San Felipe Subd., San Jose Subd. and Stanleyville Subd. Phases 1 and 2 in Bgys. Bulihan, Catmon, Guinhawa, Liyang, Mojon, Maunlad-Mojon, Pinagbakahan, Sumapang Bata, Sumapang Matanda, San Agustin and San Gabriel.

In Quezon, some areas in Pagbilao will have no power on August 27 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. because of line reconductoring works in Bgy. Bantigue, Pagbilao.
Affected areas include a portion of Mapagong – Alupaye – Bantigue Road from Maharlika Highway to and including Bgy. Mapagong, Alupaye and Bantigue; and l Bayview Accommodation, Pueblo Por La Playa, Dayalo Farm, Pagbilao National High School, Pardilla Rice Mill and Cala De Oro.
